Q: What’s the difference between dry type extruder and wet type extruder?
A: The biggest difference is the wet type need a steam boiler while the dry type doesn’t. In this case, the dry type is cheaper than wet type, and the feed pellets made by wet type extruder is much smooth and with better quality.

Q: What kind of raw materials should I use?
A: A significant majority of protein should come from named aquatic animals (fish, salmon, herring, krill, brine shrimp, plankton, squid) and plants (Spirulina, Kelp, Spinach, Algae, Vegetable Extract) and not from protein add-ons and fillers such as soy, wheat, and corn products, which should (ideally) be limited to no more than 20% of the food.

Q: How long does the floating fish pellet float on the water surface?
A: The feed pellets made by our extruder can float on the water surface for over 12 hours. While the floating time can be adjusted when the pellets are extruded.

Q: Which fish feed pellet machine is suitable for me?
A: Simple speaking, the dry type fish feed pellet machine is better and economic for the small and medium size user or factory while the wet type is suitable for large fish pond holders and feed pellet manufacturers. You can choose it based on your need.
